Michelle Baughman graduated from William Penn Senior High School in 2002. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University in 2006, where she majored in Business.

She began her career in York County at the Clerk of Courts office in August 2006, serving as a Filing Clerk and Deputy Courtroom Clerk until July of 2007. In July of 2007, Michelle began her employment with the Office of the District Attorney as a Case Manager.

She was promoted to Deputy Administrator of Case Management in December 2010 where she develops and implements policies and procedures and is directly responsible for monitoring and facilitating all administrative and logistical aspects of the prosecution of a case.
