Seth Bortner is a York County native graduating from York Catholic High School in 1998. Following high school, Attorney Bortner attended the University of Rhode Island, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002. Attorney Bortner then went on to attend the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law receiving his J.D. in 2006.

Following Law School, Attorney Bortner returned to his York County home joining the York County District Attorney’s Office in December of 2006. After working on a general trial team, in the Juvenile Crimes Unit and in the Special Case Unit, Attorney Bortner was promoted to the position of Senior Deputy Prosecutor in 2011. Seth was assigned to the Major Crimes Unit from May 2012 until March of 2013. Seth was just named the team leader of the Felony Narcotics Unit in April 2013.
